It is very sad to many people, I am sure, to see Star Trek disappear. I have watched it since it first came on the air. [I was 5 years old, but I remember it clearly]. If humanity really believed that humans were not alone in the universe, then perhaps mankind would indeed find peace. Imagine what could be accomplished if all the resources were used to better ourselves, our planet as a whole, instead of making war, greed, and selfishness! Indeed, no other TV program has had such a profound influence: stimulating imaginations of millions of loyal fans planet wide. Hopefully someday mankind will be united in peace. But only an act of God can do that, but it sounds nice, huh?
